I’ve been a customer of James Lawnmower for over 30 years, buying new equipment and getting repairs as needed. Their work is consistently excellent, and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my lawn equipment!

Be careful when making a purchase at James Lawnmower to ensure you really need the item. I bought something with cash and realized I didn’t need it after getting home. When I returned it unopened within two hours, they charged a 20% restocking fee. Also, note that paying by card incurs an additional 3% fee.

I’m very pleased with the service I received at James Lawnmower. After moving to San Antonio, my movers lost some of my lawnmower hardware. I spoke with David, who patiently helped me identify the parts I needed and placed the order. The parts arrived in just three days. When I went to pick them up, the staff acknowledged me promptly, and I was in and out quickly.

I’ve been a customer of James Lawnmower for almost 20 years and have always had excellent service. However, during my recent visit to drop off my lawn mowers, I was told they couldn’t accept my equipment because the employee handling lawn tractors was the only one available. I explained my urgent situation, but they were unable to accommodate me. I also tried contacting the owner, but reached an answering service stating they were too busy to take calls. While my past experiences have been great, this visit was frustrating due to the lack of availability.

I returned to James Lawnmower for another repair, and once again, the team treated me with respect and kindness. They never make me feel bad about how hard I am on my machines and can handle any damage I cause. Their work is always excellent. I appreciate dealing with a team that treats everyone fairly and explains mowers clearly without talking down, especially as a woman. Very helpful staff—just wish they had some Saturday hours! Highly recommend for reliable and respectful lawn equipment service.

Check-in at James Lawnmower was quick and simple, and the deposit was very reasonable. The team clearly explained what to expect, making the process stress-free. Check-out was just as easy, with no surprises—except for the exceptional level of service for the price. Even though I was a little late picking up my machine, the staff handled everything with honesty, patience, and professionalism. They went above and beyond, making me feel valued and well taken care of. Worth the trip for anyone seeking top-notch lawn equipment service!
