Keeping Tampa’s Turf Professionals (and Homeowners) Moving Since 2001
In the Florida heat, your lawn doesn't wait for a broken belt or a clogged carburetor. For over two decades, Pro Mower Parts has served as the backbone for Tampa’s landscaping community. Founded by brothers Paul and Mark Southall, this isn't just a parts counter—it’s a resource built on over 25 years of industry-leading expertise in commercial and residential power equipment.
Whether you are a professional contractor managing a fleet of zero-turns or a homeowner trying to get the backyard under control, we provide the technical support and high-grade components necessary to keep your machines running at peak performance.
Precision Parts and Specialized Service
We believe that "good enough" isn't an option when your livelihood depends on your gear. Our shop specializes in a deep inventory of both OEM and high-quality aftermarket parts, ensuring you have a cost-effective path to a functional machine without sacrificing durability. From the smallest spark plug to a complete engine swap, we bring informed confidence to every technical challenge.
Our Core Maintenance and Support Capabilities:
- Full Engine Diagnostics: Specialized troubleshooting for Briggs & Stratton, Honda, and Kohler engines.
- Fuel System Optimization: Deep cleans and services for carburetors and fuel lines to combat ethanol issues.
- Precision Sharpening: Professional-grade edges for mower blades, chainsaws, and hedge trimmers.
- Seasonal Maintenance: Comprehensive tune-ups, air filter replacements, and oil services to extend equipment life.
The Pro Mower Edge
What sets us apart is a history that most shops can't claim. Before opening Pro Mower Parts, Paul and Mark operated the world’s largest Dixie Chopper dealership. That level of high-volume, high-stakes experience means we understand the mechanical nuances of brands like Exmark, RedMax, Husqvarna, and Scag better than anyone in the Tri-County area.
Because we operate a massive shipping hub alongside our local sales counter, we have immediate access to parts that other shops have to "special order." This means less downtime for you and a faster return to the job site.
A Legacy of Local Support
The vibe at our Broadway Avenue location is grounded and neighborly. We started this business because we saw a need for a fair, expert alternative to the big-box retail experience. When you visit us, you’re talking to people who know the difference between a residential mower and a commercial beast—and we treat both with the same level of respect.
We invite you to drop by our Tampa counter to talk shop with the Southall brothers. We look forward to helping you keep your equipment sharp, your engines cool, and your business growing.

Five-star lawn mower service at Pro Mower Parts in Tampa! Great service at Pro Mower Parts.
If you're looking for lawn equipment repair in Tampa, Pro Mower Parts is the place. I brought in two Husqvarna four cycle string trimmers (224L and 324L) for general service and a replacement carburetor on the 324L. They took both string trimmers and had them for over a week without calling. I called and was told that both string trimmers are not worth repairing and charged close to $140 for that. They did not do a thing but pull the cord and say that the compression is low, which is not true, because I was able to start and run both string trimmers once I got home. These people are scam artists and I will never bring any equipment of mine back to them.
I recently took my mower to Pro Mower Parts in Tampa for a five-star lawn mower tune-up, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team provided outstanding customer service, taking the time to explain the maintenance process and ensuring my equipment was running like new. It’s hard to find a reliable small engine repair shop in Tampa that combines technical expertise with such a friendly, professional atmosphere. If you’re looking for a local mower service that is efficient, honest, and high-quality, I’m highly satisfied and would recommend them to anyone in the area.
